Messi’s skill, technique and shooting ability is just out of this world, and sometimes you do wonder how he does it.
It’s not often a talent like this comes along; once in a generation, maybe.
However, comparisons of him and his national coach, Diego Maradona, are slightly premature, considering he is still only 22.
He does, though, have the potential to match and possibly surpass the great, but often controversial Argentine.
Messi scored 47 goals in all competitions last season – equalling the club record for the Catalan giants.
