Here we go again people.
Euro 2008 is just around the corner.
From the 7th to the 29th of June to be exact!
Another European competition will be under way shortly. Woo Hoo!!!
I cannot wait. Vintage stuff!
Hosts Austria and Switzerland will make their debut in the tournament.
Well, here are how the groups line up:
Group A
Czech Republic
Portugal
Switzerland
Turkey
Group B
Austria
Croatia
Germany
Poland
Group C
France
Italy
Netherlands
Romania
Group D
Greece
Russia
Spain
Sweden
Group A would be decided I thnk between Turkey, the Czech's and Portugal.I wouldn't imagine the Swiss to make it past the group stage, but, there are 4 teams per group, so anything can happen.
Group B is an interesting one. Austria perhaps will not make it past the group stage. I think it would be the Germans and the Polish to make it through. Although Croatia may make waves I think.
Group C is a rip snorter. Hoo boy, pit full of lions!!! It is out of France, Italy or Holland to make it through to the next stage. But it would hard to predict who would make it through, as anything could happen on match day!
Group D is s toughie to I think. I think Greece and Spain will make it past the group stage. Although Russia could be tough to beat. Well, they did beat us in 2004! And yes, I am a Greek, if your wandering! Sweden don't have a bad team themselves. So I think this is a tricky group this one!
